Moisés Dantas is a documentary photographer and visual artist based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Since the early 2010s he has photographed the coast of Bahia, the Afro-Brazilian sacred festivities and life in the Lower City in long-term series, almost always in black and white.

His work includes Fishermen (2015–2018), on the artisanal fishing communities of southern Bahia and Maranhão; Sacred (2015–2021), on the feasts of Iemanjá and Bonfim and everyday life in the terreiros; Ballerinas (2016–2017), a personal project made with Ballet Rosana Abubakir and Ballet Etudes; and São Joaquim Market (2015–2018).

His photographs are printed on cotton paper (platine fibre rag 310 g) in limited editions and are held in private collections and architectural projects in Salvador. He works with Leica and Nikon cameras. He is represented by Paulo Darzé Galeria.
